A short par 4, played in the remnants of an old sand quarry. The quarry edge lines the right side of the fairway, with a natural pond and wetland on the left of the fairway. The green should be within reach for the better players, but players need to decide on the tee whether they are going to attempt driving the green, or playing a lay-up shot to the generous part of the fairway – the green is well protected by mounding and the quarry edge, with a narrow opening between mounds providing a view of this partly hidden green. Players should always be able to see the flag though. Palms and a small round bunker protect the back of the green, providing a dramatic amphitheatre feel to this challenging green.
